Pain Management Unit

Dr. Espinós holds a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the International University of Catalonia. He completed his residency in Anesthesiology, Resuscitation, and Pain Therapy at the Consorci Sanitari de Terrassa. He was part of the Pain Management Unit at the Germans Trias i Pujol University Hospital for two years, and since early 2025, he has been working in the Pain Unit at Hospital Clínic de Barcelona.

He combines his clinical practice with teaching, serving as a professor in the Medicine program at the International University of Catalonia and as coordinator of the course in Anesthesiology, Resuscitation, and Pain Therapy. In the scientific field, he has participated as both principal investigator and collaborator in various multicenter studies, receiving two research grants focused on chronic pain.

He is an active member of several scientific societies, notably serving on the board of the Catalan Society of Anesthesiology, Resuscitation and Pain Therapy, as well as the Spanish Society of Anesthesiology, Resuscitation and Pain Therapy.
