Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

Dr. Judith is a specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation since 2006 and has been a physiotherapist since 1993. Her career has focused on the management of musculoskeletal disorders, with a particular dedication to spinal conditions, rare diseases, and pain treatment.

She earned her PhD with a dissertation on quality of life in patients with scoliosis, receiving the distinction cum laude from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). Her expertise in this field has led her to head the Vertebral Deformities Unit at Vall d’Hebron Hospital in Barcelona for over 15 years, where she has served as Head of Department since 2018.

Since 2007, she has worked in close coordination with the Spineli multidisciplinary team, helping to deliver comprehensive and specialized care to each of our patients.

Deeply committed to education and research, she is an associate professor at UAB, collaborates with various patient associations, serves on the scientific committee of SERMEF (Spanish Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine), and actively participates in various scientific societies.
